SUHUM AREA STARTS REVIVAL PRAYERS

APOSTLE ETRUE COMMENCES AREA REVIVAL PRAYERS
Friday, 30th January 2015 marked the beginning of monthly Area Revival Prayers in Suhum.
As early as 8:00 am, members from all the 22 Districts in Suhum Area had converged at Emmanuel Assembly. By 9:20, the place had been filled to capacity by members and Officers who had wholeheartedly accepted the decision of the Area Head to organize the monthly prayer meetings.
Preaching a powerful sermon under the theme,THE SEASON OF COMPENSATION, Apostle Etrue boldly announced to the church that God's time for paying back His people for sacrificing for the Church had now come.
his main text was Genenis 41:37-57.
He explained that there are periods Christians go through hard times because of the fact that we have decided to follow Jesus. There were opportunities and suggestions from the camp of the enemy to make life easy for us but we shun because of our sacrifice for Jesus.
But the time has come for the people of God to be compensated

Using Joseph as a case study, Apostle Mike Etrue intimated that Joseph suffered without cause and provocation. He was sold by his own brothers, spent 10 years in Portiphar's house and 3 years in Prison. On his 30th birthday, heaven spoke, because God was with him.
When his time came, God had to cause Pharaoh to dream dreams.Though he had suffered humiliation, hardship and unjust punishment, God fully compensated him.
Apostle Etrue enumerated compensations of Joseph as;
1. Being set apart as ruler, vs 41.
2. A special ring was put on his finger
3. He was given a fine linen which distinguished him from anybody in Egypt.
4. A golden chain was put around his neck.
5. He was made to ride on the 2nd chariot.
6. People bowed before him.
7. He was given a new name; ZAPHENATHPANEA meaning the saviour. And by Gods grace, he was able to live up to the expectations of his new name.

Concluding his message, he reminded Christians that when God compensates you,
no one can change it.
He will set your heart at peace
You will be loved
He will give you good people to surround you.

After the message, the church was ushered into powerful intensive prayer which was led by Pastor Emmanuel Osei Agyapong of Pakro. Apostle Mike Etrue came back to lead the church to pray for the peace and prosperity of Ghana, and the church of Pentecost as a whole.
In attendance were all ministers in the Area and their wives.
